Stark® Hal-Berta Giant™ Peach Tree
Description
Large, luscious and nearly fuzzless. This variety is so distinct, it was the first fruit tree to be granted a plant patent in 1932. Its rosy-cheeked freestone peaches are huge and flavorful. Each fruit can serve up to nearly one pound of sweet golden flesh. Great fresh or canned. Originates from Xenia, Illinois in 1928. Freestone. Ripens in late August. Best pollinators: another peach variety, such as Burbank™ July Elberta.
