Honeyberry Plant Collection II
Description
Grow nutrient-rich berries with our Honeyberry Plant Collection!
Native to parts of Siberia, these plants excel in northern gardens. The fruit of honeyberries or sometimes referred to as haskaps have flavor comparable to wild blueberries with a hint of currant. They ripen early season, two weeks sooner than strawberries.
Honeyberries can be eaten fresh, but these berries truly shine when made into tasty jam. Plants have small, cream-colored flowers in spring and attractive flat-green leaves through summer.
The plants in this collection are selected to cross-pollinate, resulting in berries that ripen in late May to early June. These are cold-hardy and perfect for northern climates.
