Description
Bold and vigorous. Fruit is sweet-tart when picked red; superbly sweet if picked deep purple, when fully ripe. Strong flavor with a good balance of natural sugars and acidity coupled with high “cherry essence”. Blooms late to avoid spring frosts. Crack resistant. Clingstone. Keeps well in proper storage. Introduction from Germany in 1998. Ripens in late June. Pollinator required: Choose any other sweet cherry except Van.
