Description
A nectarine that’s a slice above. Commercial growers agree: this variety is an exceptional early choice for nectarine lovers. The red/yellow fruit is sizable, with a pleasing, firm texture, lots of juice and bright gold flesh. The tree is hardy and productive, and does best in the southern two-thirds of the country. Pink blooms cover the tree in spring, and smell amazing! The fruit is great for fresh eating, baking and canning/freezing. Freestone. Ripens in late July. Self-pollinating, but yields bigger crops when planted near a different nectarine variety with a similar bloom time.
