About Inchelium Red Certified Organic Garlic
Inchelium Red Softneck Garlic, hailing from the Colville Indian Reservation in Inchelium, Washington, is a distinguished garlic variety known for its robust flavor and medium pungency. This large, beautiful cultivar has been recognized as the “Very Best of the Softnecks” and won a national taste test of 20 garlic strains. Its mild, lasting flavor, complemented by a hint of heat, makes it an excellent choice for a wide range of culinary applications.
The bulbs are substantial, often measuring over 3 inches in diameter, and produce 8-20 cloves. These dense cloves store exceptionally well and can even develop a stronger flavor over time. As a softneck variety, Inchelium Red is ideal for braiding, adding a charming and practical element to your garden.
