Description
A dazzling climber. This 4-5” heirloom flower is so named because the white-throated, sky-blue flowers open in the cool of morning, then close when it gets too hot. On cloudy days and in the fall, the blossoms remain open all day. Plant around the base of a lamp post, tree, trellis or fence and let it climb. Very low-maintenance. Soaking seeds overnight aids in germination. Deer- and drought-resistant. Caution: Most parts of this plant are poisonous if ingested, especially the seeds.
