Description
Attracts bees, birds and butterflies, and makes sensational tea. This is a lemon-flavored variety, also an heirloom. Superb tea plant with striking pink-purple flowers that make soothing tea or an enchanting, fragrant cottage-garden bouquet. Because seeds are sown very shallowly, take care to keep moist until sprouts appear. Cut plants back after flowering to encourage re-blooming. Rhizomes will spread, giving you free plants you can divide every few years. Perennial. Photo courtesy of Baker Creek Heirloom Seed.
