Description
A rare and wonderful variety. Try this, bright-red Japanese turnip in your garden this year. Small, tender semi-globed roots are a stunning scarlet-red color, as are the stems. The flesh is white, mild and tinged with a magenta blush. Highly edible turnip tops are green with red veins and stems; the roots are crisp, small and perfect for fresh eating as well as cooked. A fun and fast-growing vegetable! Photo courtesy of Baker Creek Heirloom Seed.
