Watering Mango Trees
Mango trees are drought-tolerant once established, but the following guidelines should be followed to ensure their initial growth and fruit production.

Allow soil surface to dry to a depth of 2 to 3 inches between watering. Even moisture needs to be maintained from flower stage until harvest. Stop watering for about two months after harvest to initiate new bloom and growth cycle.
