Spraying Nectarine Trees
A proper and consistent spray schedule is important to the survival of your fruit tree. From diseases to pests, many potential issues can be prevented with spraying before they even begin! To reap its benefits, spraying should be done consistently and thoroughly following the guidelines below.

Before you begin, read and follow all instructions on labels.
When To Spray
Leaf fall in late autumn
- Ferti-lome® Broad Spectrum Landscape & Garden Fungicide for leaf curl.
During New Growth
- Ferti-lome® Broad Spectrum Landscape & Garden Fungicide for shot hole, brown rot blossom blight and scab.
Pre Bloom
- Hi-Yield® Captan 50W Fungicide for corynem blight (peach blight, shothole).
Full Bloom
- Hi-Yield® Captan 50W Fungicide for brown rot and scab.
At the First Sign of:
- Hi-Yield® Vegetable & Ornamental Insect Control for leafrollers, borers and Japanese beetles (not for use on large trees).
- Monterey Fruit Tree Spray Plus, Ferti-lome® Triple Action for scale, plant bugs, aphids, caterpillars, brown rot, mites, scab and powdery mildew.
- Serenade® Garden Disease Control for leaf spot, scab and powdery mildew.
- Natural Guard® Caterpillar Killer Spray w/BT for leafrollers and caterpillar.
- GardenTech® Sevin® Concentrate Bug Killer for scale, leafrollers, aphids, mites and borers (not for use on large trees).
- Safer® Brand Insect Killing Soap for scale, leafroller, aphids, oriental fruit moth, rose chafer, mites, borers and Japanese beetles (not for use on large trees).
