Coralstar® Peach Tree
Description
Another great dessert-quality peach from the “Stellar” series. The showy 3” diameter fruit displays a 75% orange-red blush, with very slight tinges of deep coral in the yellow flesh. Thin the fruit aggressively — and early — to get the best peach size and quality. Shows resistance to bacterial spot and canker, and has no split pits. Coralstar® develops its sweet flavor and ample juice early on, and hangs beautifully on the tree without overripening. Moderately cold-hardy. A fine all-purpose peach for desserts, canning and freezing. Freestone. Ripens in late August/early September. Self-pollinating, but yields bigger crops when planted near a different peach variety with a similar bloom time. FA-59 cultivar.
