Starkrimson® Red Pear Tree
Description
A real attention-getter. Most red pears are just blushed, but this fruit’s skin is solid red when ripe. Fruit has fine flavor that holds up when cooked, canned, frozen and of course eaten fresh. Tree is vigorous and bears heavy crops. May have some susceptibility to fire blight. Ripens in August. Best pollinators: Starking® Delicious™ or Moonglow. Kalle cultivar
