Description
About Musik Certified Organic Garlic
Introducing Musik Garlic – a flavorful and hardy addition to your garden! This certified organic hardneck porcelain garlic variety is celebrated for its rich flavor and medium to hot heat. The cloves, buff-colored with red highlights, are easy to peel and ideal for culinary use. Known for its sweet, hot pungent flavor, Musik Garlic offers excellent yields and impressive cold hardiness. Named after Al Musik, who discovered it in Italy, this garlic variety features large, succulent cloves similar to the German Extra Hardy garlic.
How to Grow Musik Certified Organic Garlic
Musik Garlic thrives when planted in the fall before the ground freezes, typically in early to mid-autumn. It prefers full sun and well-prepared, organically rich soil. For best results, space the cloves about 6 inches apart and rows 1-2 feet apart. In colder climates, cover the garlic with mulch to protect it during winter. This variety matures in approximately 240 days, rewarding growers with large, plump bulbs. Harvest when the lower leaves have dried and the bulbs are fully developed.
Our garlic is USDA certified organic, ensuring it’s grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. This commitment to organic farming supports healthier, sustainable crops and enhances soil health, providing you with top-quality produce for your garden and kitchen.
A half-pound set of garlic contains approximately 3-4 bulbs. Each bulb contains several cloves for planting. Actual quantity may vary depending on bulb size.
