Description
The pods are as good as the peas inside. This is the go-to sugar snap pea of home gardeners for its productivity, reliability and consistently great sweet crunch. Tasty and tender-crisp pods are great raw, stir-fried or in salads. Harvest when the pod is round, shiny and bright green — that’s the height of flavor and tenderness, and the pods won’t require stringing. Trellising the vines will provide a bigger yield.
