About the Amoore Sweet Nectarine Tree

A new and improved nectarine for gardeners to enjoy! ‘Amoore Sweet’ is the first nectarine released from the program at the University of Arkansas with low acid flavor and non-melting flesh. This new nectarine cultivar is a cross from ‘Ark’ and can be distinguished by its quality, low-acid fruits that ripen early mid-season.

Characteristics of Amoore Sweet Nectarines

The Amoore Sweet nectarine tree produces medium-sized fruits with firm, yellow flesh of premium eating quality. These nectarines have low-acid with a distinct, sweet nectarine flavor. The fruits have very little browning and mealiness, with desirable yellow flesh color and excellent condition throughout storage.

How to grow an Amoore Sweet Nectarine Tree

Plant in full sun in well-draining soil. This nectarine tree is self-fertile and does not require a pollinator. Amoore Sweet is a high-quality cultivar with good resistance to bacterial spot, making this a great choice for areas where brown spot is a concern.
